Balitang 60 (lit. meaning News 60) is a weekend newscast of AksyonTV in the Philippines. Anchored by Jove Francisco and Chi Bocobo, the newscast airs from Saturdays and Sundays at 7:00-8:00pm. It is also simulcasted on radio through 92.3 News FM
History[]
It was previously known as a weekend edition of Andar ng mga Balita which was aired for one week before changing the newscast as Balitang 60. This newscast is more focus on conversations and interactive consent similar to Aksyon JournalisMO's Sidetracked which Francisco anchored the segment.
The newscast later added new segments, including Roda Magnaye features the most-favorite restaurants around Metro Manila; as well as top local artists and bands guests for live performance before the newscast ends.
On October 8, 2010, Balitang 60 was given a new enhanced studio set. The same weekend, Francisco later rainsted the out-of-studio anchor and Bocobo was during the studio anchor.
On October 29, 2011, Balitang 60 will get a new logo, new graphics and a new look of the studio.
